During the past 50 years, by devoting to publishing enterprise wholeheartedly and making efforts to development, the GPH people have finally created today's proud achievement.

In 2002, GPH created publishing materials totally valued over 20 million US dollars (168 million RMB Yuan). According to General Administration of Press and Publication 's appraisal result, the GPH entered into China's 100 best in its comprehensive competency, ranking 15 in the country's science and technology publishers .

During the last 50 years, many worldly recognized scientists such as J. S. Lee, Huang Jiqing, Li Chunyu, Cheng Yuqi, have been GPH 's constant authors.
